The ION® CMH 315W System delivers highly efficient commercial and greenhouse lighting in one ready-to-grow package. Featuring a 315-watt CMH ballast, pre-mounted and hardwired CMH reflector, and a 3,100-kelvin OptiLUME® Enhanced CMH lamp, this premium system is precision-built to optimize ceramic metal halide technology for superior performance and yields. The microprocessor-driven ballast operates at a low frequency ideal for CMH lamps, and supports USB controller integration with dual input/output USB ports allowing direct linking from ballast to ballast (eliminating the need to purchase a separate USB hub). Safety and performance functions include staggered ignition, soft start technology, hot restrike prevention, end of lamp life recognition, thermal overload and circuit protections, high/low voltage limits, and green LED status indicators. 120/208/240-volt operation. With its compact, closed design, the attached CMH reflector focuses light for a concentrated footprint with yield-driving intensity. A heavy-duty steel arm supports a replaceable, 95 percent reflective hammertone aluminum insert and a PGZ18 / PGZX18 lampholder. This system also includes a 315-watt, 3,100-kelvin OptiLUME Enhanced CMH lamp suitable for a wide variety of plants in all life stages. The high CRI of this lamp more closely mimics natural daylight than other grow lamp technologies, making it ideal for promoting plant growth. The beneficial UV and infrared output also works to promote stronger plants and higher quality yields. This lamp is rated at 90 CRI and 12,000 life hours. This system includes hanging hardware, a ballast-to-ballast USB cable, a three-year warranty on the ballast and reflector, and a one-year warranty on the lamp. FCC certified and CSA listed for commercial and residential applications.
